新移民可以持中国驾照在魁北克省开车吗？中国驾照能用多长时间？
新移民可以凭中国驾照+翻译件在魁北克省连续开车六个月，时间从正式登陆日开始计算，超出6个月上路行驶必须使用魁北克驾照，否则视同无照驾驶，建议新移民在登陆后立即着手考取驾照事宜。新移民的中国驾照必须在有效期内，距初次领取驾照满一年以上，不足一年的可以等满一年时再考魁北克驾照，或者在魁北克作为初学者从头开始学习，只允许驾驶符合驾照类型的车辆，中国驾照不允许在魁北克驾驶大货车、大客车、紧急车辆、小客车、出租车。工作签证持有者也属于居民，和新移民待遇一样，SAAQ官方相应法规如下：
Holders of a foreign licence are allowed to drive on Québec roads for 6 consecutive
months. After that time, they must hold an international driving permit, or, if they take
up residence in Québec, they must obtain a Québec licence. They may apply for a
Québec licence as soon as they arrive in Québec.
However, make sure that your foreign licence:
is valid
authorizes you to drive the type of road vehicle that you are using
Québec driver’s licence required after the first 6 months
Here is the procedure to obtain a Québec licence, according to the road vehicle that
you drive. You can begin the application process as soon as you arrive in Québec.
For a car
You must have held a driver’s licence authorizing you to drive a car for at least one
year before settling in Québec and pass the Class 5 (car) before being eligible to
obtain a Québec driver’s licence.
